It's that time of year again Garnet Valley and the storm cloud that is the AP tests is looming over us. Now is the time to start preparing for those tests. Waiting until the last minute is not the way to go. Being prepared is crucial, and there's only 2 weeks to go until exams. If you haven't started yet, don't worry, It's not too late and all of the important information is right here. Starting with the exam itself, the best way to start preparing is by knowing when your test is. Not sure? Here are the dates.

Here are some more tips and tricks to prepare yourself for those AP exams. 

  1. Know your exam dates-  Collegeboard and your teachers are your best friends. 
  2. Go to review sessions-  Most teachers will host review sessions. GO TO THEM! 
  3. Study a bit each day - 10-30 minutes a day can make a big difference. 
  4. Make a study schedule- if you are taking multiple exams this will keep you organized. 
  5. Check Schoology- most teachers have provided study resources! 
  6. Study with friends- grab a snack and review with peers, this is a great way to get help!
  7. Take practice exams - get used to the format of the test and find your strengths/weaknesses
  8. Take breaks - don't overwhelm yourself, you will study better if you take occasional short breaks. 
  9. Be on time - they will not wait for you to start the exam, being on time is crucial! 
  10. Eat a good breakfast and get 10 hours of sleep- don't try to cram in last minute studying, adequate sleep will help you more in the long run.
