GVPAA has been recognized for multiple nominations for awards for two weeks in a row! Thirteen Independence Award nominations last week and sixteen Cappies nominations this week. This back-to-back recognition reflects the extraordinary talent, commitment, and collaboration of our entire student theater group, parent volunteers, staff, and production team. 

The Cappies (Critics and Awards Program) is a student-driven awards program that recognizes excellence in high school theater. Students attend productions across the region, write reviews, and evaluate performances and technical elements. Their work leads to nominations and awards that celebrate outstanding achievement on and off the stage.
